Winter Solstice December 21, 2021

The winter solstice is the longest night of the year. It marks the beginning of Winter in the Northern Hemisphere.
Throughout history and across cultures, the winter solstice has been celebrated. Humans have joined together to celebrate the return to the light.
It has been a symbolism of rebirth. The winter solstice is a beautiful time to cocoon yourself in the darkness. Sit in stillness and create a ritual. Reflect on your journey this past year.
Honor who you have become, love, and forgive who you were and step into who you want to be.

It is Capricorn Season! December 21, 2021

The winter solstice also marks the beginning of Capricorn season.
Capricorn is a cardinal earth sign. Cardinal energy is that of initiation. It is energy that is focused on a set direction. Earth signs are grounded.
Capricorns are the CEOs of the zodiac. Industrious, organized, ambitious and a bit on the serious side. Capricorn energy gets things done in a very sensible way. They are unshakable.
It is no wonder that most people set their goals and resolutions for the upcoming year now.

Ceres Retrograde Enters Taurus December 21, 2021

Ceres is an asteroid that orbits in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.
In Roman mythology Ceres is the Goddess of agriculture, wheat, and grain. She is also the Goddess of fertility, and motherly relationships.

Her archetype is supportive and nurturing. It represents how we nurture others and how we were nurtured when we were young. It points to how you want to be cared for and how you care for others.
Ceres stationed retrograde on October 8, 2021. This retrograde has invited us to look inward. How do we nurture ourselves? How does our upbringing impact the way we care for ourselves? How does that impact how we care for others?
Ceres retrograde is moving into Taurus. It will highlight this earth sign’s themes. They are similar to the themes of the Venus retrograde.
Do we seek security from external sources because of the way we were brought up? What is our relationship like with ourselves and how does it impact how we show up with others? Do we have a healthy, nurturing relationship with food?

Saturn Square Uranus December 24, 2021

It is interesting that this is occurring on Christmas Eve. Then the Venus/Pluto conjunction is occurring Christmas Day. This is a time when many people are with their families. These relationships often poke our deepest feelings, whether they are positive or negative.
A square is a 90-degree relationship between these two planets. It represents tension, active change, and instability.
Saturn represents structure, limitations, hurdles, karma, and lessons.
Uranus is the rebel of the planetary system. It represents freedom, drastic changes, eccentricity. It also rules technology and modern life.

You will feel the inner tension between the structures in your life and your need for freedom. Discipline is often needed. Where are you so disciplined that you are limiting yourself from experiencing change?
The beliefs, stories and attitudes of your family may clash with your need to be yourself.
The Ceres and Venus retrograde energy will support this look inward. Where are we looking for security or validation outside of ourselves? Can we break our familial patterns and nurture ourselves? Is this what we need to do to fully express ourselves?

Neptune Squares Vesta December 24, 2021

The asteroid Vesta represents commitment and service. It indicates where you are dedicated, devoted, and make personal sacrifices.
Neptune’s energy represents illusions, imagination, our spirituality, and our creative force. It can also lead to lack of clarity, deception, and a cloudy feeling.
This square can give you the sense that we are working hard at something and not making progress. Are you pouring your energy into an unsatisfying commitment? Is there a project or a relationship, that is unsatisfying? Are you feeling like you are getting nothing in return?
You will feel some form of disillusionment about this today.

Venus in Retrograde Conjunct Pluto December 25, 2021

When a planet stations retrograde, it crosses the same part of the sky three times. These three phases are:
